Coletta Oil Mill — The Company

The Coletta mill is an important reality in the production of extra virgin olive oil in Abruzzo. The company, modern and family run, is dedicated exclusively to the production of cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, in its bottling and distribution in Italy and other European countries. As of today, the oil mill comprises one of the largest mills of Abruzzo with a maximum working capacity of 2 Tons / h of olives in two production lines, a line of bottling capacity of 200 bottles / h and storage of 40,000 liters. The most significant amount of olive oil (60%) is sold in the regions of northern Italy, where the olive tree bears fruit in a few areas, due to the harsh and foggy climate. 20% of our olive oils is marketed in the region of production, Abruzzo. A final 20% is sold in other European countries, mainly in Germany, Belgium and Austria.
